Taranaki, Aotearoa. A place like no other.

Experience a beautiful trail through a wide variety of terrain, including native bush, beach, farmland, DOC trails and forestry roads.

You and three friends will be walking through this must-see destination and changing the lives of families living with injustice.

Whether you choose to take on the 50km or 100km challenge, you’ll experience the stunning scenery, often on trails you wouldn't otherwise be able to walk on.

THE TRAIL

Oxfam works with some of the world’s most at-risk communities to provide people with the tools, education, experience and knowledge to help them pull themselves out of poverty.

Our programmes help install water points and private toilets so girls in Papua New Guinea can stay in school, train farmers on techniques that help them adapt to a dramatically changing climate, and open up leadership opportunities for women. We can't do this without people like you taking on events like Oxfam Trailwalker.

Oxfam Trailwalker now raises around $1 million each year in Aotearoa. We rely on this support so that we can respond immediately when disasters happen around the world, such as the recent volcanic eruption in Tonga and the refugee crisis in Ukraine.
