Take on Taranaki for an epic challenge! This is the year for you to join with your friends or whānau and thousands of Kiwis to challenge yourselves and challenge the injustices that keep people trapped in poverty.
You and three mates will walk or run 50km or 100km, while fundraising for Oxfam Aotearoa. You’ll experience an awe-inspiring and varied trail throughout New Zealand’s beautiful Taranaki region.
Since 2006, people from all walks of life have challenged themselves to the greatest endurance event in Aotearoa, raising over $15 million to fight injustice in the Pacific region.
Raise money to support Oxfam’s climate adaptation programming, investing in communities who need it the most, one step at a time.

Experience a beautiful trail through a wide variety of terrain, including native bush, beach, farmland, DOC trails and forestry roads.
You and three friends will be walking through this must-see destination and changing the lives of families living with injustice.
Whether you choose to take on the 50km or 100km challenge, you’ll experience the stunning scenery, often on trails you wouldn't otherwise be able to walk on.
Oxfam works with some of the world’s most at-risk communities to provide people with the tools, education, experience and knowledge to help them pull themselves out of poverty.
Our programmes help install water points and private toilets so girls in Papua New Guinea can stay in school, train farmers on techniques that help them adapt to a dramatically changing climate, and open up leadership opportunities for women. We can't do this without people like you taking on events like Oxfam Trailwalker.
Oxfam Trailwalker now raises around $1 million each year in Aotearoa. We rely on this support so that we can respond immediately when disasters happen around the world, such as the recent volcanic eruption in Tonga and the refugee crisis in Ukraine.
